A two-metre-high, blood-red sculpture of Jesus Christ holding two Uzi
submachine guns is on display at L’Aérosol in Marseille*. The blasphemy
was made by French provocateur James Colomina. It was initially placed
outside the venue before being moved indoors. Colomina claims the armed
Christ is an anti-violence statement.
*L'Aérosol à La Tulipe is a large cultural space and living museum dedicated to street art and hip-hop culture, located in Marseille, France.
