How holiness is formed of small things

How holiness is formed of small things.

(1) This morning my lovable Jesus told me: “My daughter, holiness is formed of small things, so whoever despises small things cannot be holy. It would be like someone who despises the small seeds of grain that together form the mass of grain, and if care were not taken to join them together, the necessary and daily nourishment of human life would be lacking. Thus, for someone who does not take care to join together so many small acts, the nourishment of holiness will be lacking, and just as one cannot live without nourishment, so without the nourishment of small acts, the true form of holiness and sufficient mass to form holiness would be lacking.”

The world has lost its balance because it has lost the thought of the Passion.

(1) Finding myself in my usual state, I found myself outside of myself, and I found my ever-lovable Jesus, all dripping with blood, with a horrible crown of thorns, and with difficulty He looked at me from between the thorns, and told me:

(2) “My daughter, the world has lost its balance because it has lost the thought of my Passion. In darkness it has not found the light of my Passion to illuminate it, which, by making it know my Love and how many pains souls cost Me, might enable it to react and love Him who has truly loved it; and the light of my Passion, guiding it, put it on guard against all dangers.

In weakness it has not found the strength of my Passion to sustain it; in impatience it has not found the mirror of my patience to infuse in it calm and resignation, so that before my patience, feeling ashamed, it might consider it a duty to master itself.

In pains it has not found the consolation of the pains of a God, which, sustaining its own, might infuse love of suffering; in sin it has not found my holiness, which, confronting it, might infuse hatred of guilt. Ah! Man has transgressed in everything because he has separated himself in everything from Him who could help him; that is why the world has lost its balance. He has acted like a child who no longer wants to know his mother, like a disciple who, disowning the master, no longer wants to listen to his teachings or learn his lessons. What will become of this child and of this disciple? They will be their own sorrow and the terror and sorrow of society. Such has man become: terror and sorrow, but sorrow without pity. Ah, man worsens, worsens ever more, and I weep for him with tears of blood!”
