Seek, O souls, the goals of Heaven and forget those of Earth. Everyone who seeks the things of Heaven will also obtain those of Earth to better serve God and do His will. I, Spirit of God, speak to you. But you, souls of God, do the exact opposite: you seek Heaven to gain the things of Earth. That is why things go so poorly for you in so many matters—because you only think of the earthly, the ephemeral, and the fleeting. I, Spirit of God, speak to you.
Who comes to God to ask for My gifts? Who prays to ask for the gifts that I grant and desire to give to souls of good will? Few, so very few—compared to the multitudes on Earth—come to pray to ask that I, Spirit of God, Third Person of the Most Holy Trinity, grant them My seven sacred gifts. I, Spirit of God, speak to you.
Today you celebrate Me and name Me. Today you share the joy of this day with other brothers and sisters who also believe in Me, but how quickly Pentecost passes for you, how quickly you forget Me for earthly things and affairs! Barely has this great day passed, and you are already thinking about beaches and vacations. How little and how poorly you give to Me, souls of God! And yet you still consider yourselves good for the insignificance I receive. I, Spirit of God, speak to you.
If you only knew what a great gift it is to ask for the Holy Spirit, not a single day would pass without you asking for Him, and perhaps not even a single moment would pass without you doing so. Children of God, seek Heaven and its matters. Seek the glory of God above all else, even above your own eternal salvation, because whoever glorifies God and truly loves Him earns eternal salvation as a consequence. I, Spirit of God, speak to you and instruct you.
