Uganda: A Muslim father attempts to burn his two daughters alive for converting to Christianity
Around midnight on September 6, Amina and Shamila were inside their home in Kibenge, Kasese District, Uganda, when their house was set on fire. Their father, Muhamud, doused the house with gasoline and then set it ablaze while the girls were sleeping inside. He had told them that he would act to comply with Islamic law, as they had rejected Islam by converting to Christianity two weeks earlier, according to the Zenit news agency, citing International Christian Concern.
