Italy’s Association of Catholic Moral Theologians (ATISM) wants to move beyond “rigid ideological dichotomies” on abortion, gender and assisted suicide.
In an August 25 interview with Avvenire, the Italian bishops’ daily, ATISM president Fr. Martin Lintner and vice-president Gaia De Vecchi call for less divisive rhetoric and greater weight for lived experience, individual circumstances and conscience.
