the pretext of charity, Bishop Athanasius Schneider told Gloria.tv

He accused these bishops of “cowardice” for failing to profess their Christian and Catholic identity.
According
to Schneider, European political elites are deliberately organizing
Muslim immigration: “These are generally not refugees, but deliberately
orchestrated and organized measures by European political elites to
bring a Muslim population into Europe.”
Schneider described Islam
as “totalitarian” and “anti-Christian.” Building large mosques amounts
to propaganda for a religion that is not willed by God.
Bishop
Schneider also condemned interreligious dialogue, as exemplified by the
2019 Abu Dhabi Document, as “a betrayal of the mission of the Gospel,
which God Himself, Jesus Christ, entrusted to us.”
Schneider
criticized the practice of placing all religions on an equal footing,
even visually, as though one could “choose a religion as in a
supermarket.”
He described the period since the Second Vatican
Council as “60 years of darkness,” during which misguided methods of
ecumenism and interreligious dialogue have undermined the Gospel.
