Jesus wants the creature's continuous acts

Jesus wants the creature's continuous acts—it does not matter if they are small, provided that the movement, the germ, is there. He unites them with His own and makes them great.

(1) Continuing in my usual state and feeling somewhat suffering, I was thinking to myself: “How is it that I am not granted to find rest either by night or by day; rather, the weaker and more suffering I am, the more my mind is awake and unable to rest?” And my sweet Jesus told me:

(2) “My daughter, you do not know the reason, but I know it and now I tell it to you. My Humanity had no rest, and even in my sleep I had no respite; rather, I worked intensely, and this because, having to give life to all and to everything, and to remake everything in Myself, it was fitting for Me to work without interrupting for a single instant. He who must give life must be in continuous movement and an uninterrupted act; thus I was in a continuous act of bringing forth lives of creatures from Myself and receiving them back. If I had wanted to rest, how many lives would not have come forth, how many, lacking my continuous act, would not have developed and would have withered away, how many would not have entered into Me for lack of the act of life of the One who alone can give life?

Now, my daughter, wanting you with Me in my Will, I want your continuous act; so your awake mind is an act, the murmur of your prayer is an act, the movements of your hands, the beats of your heart, the movement of your gaze are acts. They may be small, but what does it matter to Me? As long as the movement, the germ, is there, I unite them to mine and make them great, and I give them the virtue of producing lives. Nor were all my acts seemingly great, especially when I was little and groaned, nursed my Mother’s milk, entertained Myself in kissing her, caressing her, intertwining my little hands with hers; grown older, I cut flowers, fetched water, and did other things.

These were all small acts, but they were united in my Will, in my Divinity, and this was enough; then they became so great as to be able to create millions upon millions of lives. So while I groaned, lives of creatures came forth from my groans; I nursed, kissed, caressed, but they were lives coming forth; in my fingers intertwined with my Mother’s hands, souls flowed, and while I cut flowers and fetched water, they were souls coming forth from the beat of my uncreated heart, and entering. My movement was continuous—here is the reason for your sleeplessness. When I see your movement, your acts in my Will—which now place themselves at my side, now run into my hands, now into my voice, into my mind, into my heart—I make them the movement of all, and to each one I give life in my Will, giving them the virtue of my acts, and I make them flow for the salvation and good of all.”
