US President Donald Trump has once again criticized the serious riots that occurred over the weekend in France, pointing out that the French capital, Paris, "will very soon be a Muslim city."
"Paris will very soon be a Muslim city. They have ruined France. It's going to be hard to recover it. I hope it recovers," he told reporters from the White House lawn.
Now France is "in a very bad situation." "It's because of immigration, not because of schools or anything. It's immigration. I told (French President Emmanuel) Macron to close the borders," he argued.
SECOND WARNING TO PARIS IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS**
Trump demands France close the border "and fast": "Immigrants have taken over France"**
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, once again demanded this Monday an immediate response from French authorities regarding the wave of violence hitting the country. The leader insists on strengthening border control and attributes the security crisis to uncontrolled immigration.
"Immigrants have taken over France. They must close the border, and fast!", he wrote in a new post published on his social media. This marks his second intervention regarding the French situation in less than 24 hours.
**"Take control before it is too late"*
Trump had already warned on Sunday about the deteriorating situation and urged the French government to act to regain control. "The immigration of people from a completely different world, people with hatred in their hearts, has destroyed that once-great country," the US president stated.
His message concluded with a demand directed at the authorities: "Close your borders and take control before it is too late!" The new statement maintains that line of firmness and adds an explicit request for speed.
The statements come after student and "yellow vest" protests—linked to the rising cost of living and the decline of public services—degenerated into serious episodes of violence in various French cities.
