Leo XIV sounds decentralizing: “new paths” for local Churches.
At yesterday’s meeting on Amoris Laetitia, Pope Leo XIV spoke of “the (alleged) fruits that Amoris Laetitia has borne in our local Churches.”
And then: “It will also help the local Churches to recognize new paths and to involve all the baptized more deeply in the Church’s synodal journey.”
