Deserted churches and without ministers.
(1) Continuing in my usual state, the ever kind Jesus made Himself seen much afflicted and I said to Him: "My Love, why are You so afflicted?"
(2) And He: "Ah! my daughter, when I allow the churches to remain deserted, the ministers dispersed, the Masses diminished, it will mean that the sacrifices are offenses to Me, the prayers insults, the adorations irreverences, the confessions pastimes and without fruit; therefore, no longer finding My glory, but offenses, nor their good, no longer serving Me, I take them away;
but this tearing of the ministers from My Sanctuary means that things have reached the very worst point, and that the diversity of chastisements will multiply. How hard is man, how hard he is!"
