If I Were a Principal at a Catholic School, I Would

1. Work to offer Holy Mass daily. Pray the rosary daily; include campaign like “pray the rosary at home daily,” such as the vigilant campaign I received regarding buckling up. My parents didn’t after my sis and I had it droned into us, we told them to and they did = same principle.
2. Music program based on what the Church wants which is Gregorian Chant for the Liturgy. Imagine the Church choir populated by the kids, who are formerly trained. Lessons for the talented include singing the Mass Propers.
3. Mission trip for WYD.
4. Vocation retreats both yearly spiritual exercises and a few times boys (say at 12 and 16) must spend a few days at a seminary or monastery and girls at a convent or monastery.
5. Mission trip to Latin America (like the Prots).

6. Classical language training such as Latin, Greek and Hebrew in that order.
7. Drama program based on Catholic literature as well as acting out Saints lives
8. Gender specific classes especially PE (but could mingle at say lunch)! Boys and girls learn better with that one less distraction
9. Better Cathechisis period. Boys get extra credit in theology class (note not religion) if they serve at Mass.
10. Confession at least every other week and they get taught again and again on a good examination of conscience.
