The New Ways Ministry, a gay propaganda organization, is campaigning for the canonization of Franciscan Father Mychal Judge, a chaplain to New York firefighters, who died during the terrorist attacks on 9/11. The gay organization invokes Pope Francis’ June directive according to which “the heroic giving of one’s life for others” is “a new possible pathway to sainthood”. Judge was an alcoholic, a self-declared homosexual and a member of the gay propaganda organization Dignity.
