Bishop: “Pope Is Not Confirming The Truth”

There is a “new situation in the Church” since in some countries adulterers are admitted to Communion, Bishop Athanasius Schneider said talking to The Remnant (November 20). He points out that this has never been seen “in 2000 years of the Church” and is “a general attack of the Holy Eucharist”.

Schneider adds that those expressing concern about the confusion in the Church are the true friends of Francis not those who adulate him. He calls it an “act of charity” to ask Francis for clarity, “We have to have the possibility to speak clear words without being afraid to be punished or isolated.”

“The faith is not the private property of the Pope” but belongs to the entire Church, Schneider points out. A Pope is “only an administrator”. Therefore a pope cannot impose a wrong doctrine, “We have to believe this, even when temporarily we are living in a darkness and when temporarily the Pope is not confirming us in the constant and unchanging truth of the Church.”
