Recently in an interview, Father Francesco Bamonte, Servant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and Vice-President of the International Association of Exorcists, seriously warned (as many other people have already done): The feast of Halloween appears today closely linked to dark and gloomy realities such as witchcraft and Satanism... Those who celebrate it put themselves in communion with this evil spiritual current.. . with all the harmful consequences that it entails for their lives.
It is true that around us we see many people who celebrate it year after year and, in appearance, continue their lives as normal. But we should not rule out that there are also those who have fallen into the clutches of satanic sects or even demonic possessions. In fact, that night, which is the beginning of the year for Satanists, chilling events such as homicides, murders, suicides, séances and even rituals with human sacrifices continue to occur all over the world...
And I ask myself, dear reader, why do children need to be brought closer, even unconsciously, to this occult and satanic world? Why do we have to open the doors to a dark world, causing them to normalize terror and even black magic? What is the point of dressing up in costumes with an axe bleeding from the head or as the living dead?
Children are being bombarded with cartoons, stories and all kinds of activities in which magic, spells, witches or magic rituals are a constantthere are few children who have had a fatal outcome by practicing "Ouija" (or black magic) even hospitalizationsdanger of playing with spirits is constantly confirmed by exorcists.
. In this way they normalize it. In Latin American countries, for example, . This is not a game and parents should be vigilant. In Spain, it is already arriving with force and .
The apostle St. Paul, in Galatians 5:20, warned that the works of the flesh are contrary to the spirit, among which includes sorcery, incompatible to reach the Kingdom of God. As it is stated in Revelation 21, 8
Halloween is centered on death. A kind of mockery that is perpetuated with costumes. It is even used to attack Christian symbols, such as the costumes of nuns or murderous monks.
Spain, a nation of Mary par excellence, a Christian land watered by the life of many saints, is being deliberately attacked. Today more people, even believers, celebrate Halloween with more fervor than the feast of All Saints.
I, for my part, dear reader, will continue to teach my students, and of course my children, the values and virtues of the thousands of saints who have heroically earned the palm of victory
As more and more children are doing in their parish communities, in the so-called "Hollywins", holiness wins.
I, for my part, will do my best to make these saints models of infinite love, so that the children will know that it is possible to live a life in which death is not seen in macabre tones surrounded by blood and fear, but as the beginning of a life full of beauty, true happiness... the Eternal Life towards which we are all called to reach through holiness .
I for my part will celebrate the great feast of All Saints.
Are you up for preserving our faith and its festivities or would you rather celebrate Halloween?
