Committing suicide as a couple

 

A new version of the controversial suicide pod is being designed for couples in Switzerland. These 3D-printed pods kill two people together when they press a button at the same time. They then die within minutes as the chamber fills with nitrogen.

The device was originally introduced in 2024 for one human being. The 'double' version has been developed in response to concerns expressed by some suiciders about dying alone.
