Only love transforms the soul into God

"Love is what transforms the soul into God, and it seeks to find souls unoccupied by everything."

(1) Continuing in my usual state, as soon as my always amiable Jesus came, He said to me:

(2) “My daughter, the other virtues, however high and sublime they may be, always distinguish the creature from the Creator; only love is what transforms the soul into God and forms it into one single thing with Him. Thus, only love is what triumphs over all human imperfections—the only thing that consumes what prevents the soul from attaining Divine Life in God.

But there can be no true love if it does not receive life and nourishment from my Will; so, my Will united to love is what forms the true transformation with Me. In this way, the soul is in continuous contact with my Power, my Holiness, and all that I am, so that it can be said she is another 'Me.' Everything is precious, everything is holiness for that soul; it can be said that her breath, and even the contact with the ground she treads upon, is precious and holy, because they are nothing other than the effects of my Will.”

(3) Afterward, He added: “Oh! If everyone knew my Love and my Will, they would stop leaning on themselves, and even more so on others—human supports would end. Oh! How they would find them insignificant, painful, and uncomfortable. Everyone would lean only on my Love, because being a most pure spirit, containing no matter, they would find themselves very much at ease leaning on Me, finding the effects they desire.

(4) My daughter, Love wants to find souls liberated from everything, otherwise it cannot clothe them with the garment of love. It would be like someone who, wanting to put on a garment, finds it full of obstacles inside; therefore, he cannot put it on. He tries to pull out an arm and finds a hindrance; so, the poor man must either stop trying or look ridiculous. In the same way, when Love wants to clothe the soul with Itself, if It does not find the soul entirely cleared, It withdraws in bitterness.”
