*(1) I was very afflicted by the deprivation of my adorable Jesus and wept bitterly, and as I was doing the Hours of the Passion, a thought tormented me, saying: "See what your reparations for others have brought you—making Jesus flee." And I was thinking other nonsense, when the blessed Jesus, moved to compassion by my tears, pressed me to His heart and said to me:*
*(2) “My daughter, you are My sting; My Love finds itself in straits with your violence. If you only knew how much I suffer seeing you suffer because of Me; but Justice, which wants to pour itself out, and your very violence compel Me to hide. Since things will worsen, patience is needed. Furthermore, you must know that the reparations made for others have served you immensely. Because by repairing for others, you wanted to do what I did: I repaired for everyone and also for you; I asked forgiveness for everyone, and I felt sorrow for the offenses of all, just as I also asked forgiveness for you and felt sorrow for you. Therefore, by doing what I did, you come to receive together the reparations, the forgiveness, and the sorrow I had for you.
And what could serve you more: My reparations, My forgiveness, My sorrow, or yours? Moreover, I never allow Myself to be outdone in love, and when I see that out of love for Me a soul is entirely focused on making reparation to Me, loving Me, and asking forgiveness for sinners, I—to match her—ask forgiveness for her in a special way, making reparation and loving on her behalf, while embellishing her soul with My Love, My reparations, and My forgiveness. Therefore, continue repairing and do not create conflict between you and Me.”*
