Grace, like the light of the sun, is given to everyone

(1) I was fusing myself in the Divine Will, and the thought came to me to entrust several people to God in a special way, and blessed Jesus said to me:

(2) “My daughter, particularization happens naturally on its own, even if no specific intention is set. In the order of grace, it happens just as it does in the natural order: the sun gives light to all, yet not everyone enjoys the same effects. This is not on the part of the sun, but on the part of the creatures. One person uses the light of the sun to work, to invent, to learn, and to appreciate things; this person becomes rich, establishes himself, and does not go around begging for bread from others. Another person remains idle and refuses to occupy himself with anything; the light of the sun floods him on all sides, but for him it is useless because he does not want to do anything. This person is poor and sickly, because idleness produces many evils—both physical and moral—and when he feels hunger, he needs to beg for bread from others. Now, between these two, could the cause of their different states perhaps be the sun? Or is it that it gives more light to one and less to the other? Certainly not; the only difference is that one takes advantage of the light in a special way while the other does not.

Now, it is the same in the order of grace, which, more than light, floods souls. At times it becomes a voice to call them, a voice to instruct them, to correct them; at other times it becomes fire and burns away the things of this world below for them, and with its flames puts to flight creatures and pleasures. With its burns, it forms pains and crosses to give the soul the form of holiness that it desires for her; at other times it becomes water, purifying her, beautifying her, and filling her completely with grace. But who are the ones attentive to receiving all these flows of grace? Who are the ones who accept them? Ah, far too few! And then they dare to say that to some I give the grace to become saints and to others I do not—almost as if wanting to blame Me—and they content themselves with leading an idle life, as if the light of grace were not there for them.”

(3) Then He added: “My daughter, I love the creature so much that I Myself stand as a sentinel over each heart to watch over it, to defend it, and to work its sanctification with My own hands. But to how many bitternesses do I not subject Myself? Some reject Me, others pay no attention to Me and despise Me, others complain about My vigilance, and others shut the door in My face, rendering My work useless. And not only do I place Myself to act as a sentinel, but for this purpose I also choose the souls who live in My Will. Because I am found in everything, I place them alongside Me as a second sentinel over every heart. These second sentinels comfort Me, make up for everyone on their behalf, and keep Me company in the solitude to which many hearts force Me, compelling Me not to leave them. A greater grace I could not give to creatures than to give them these souls who live from My Will, who are the wonder of wonders.”
