The Priestly Fraternity of St Peter (FSSP) is preparing to establish its
first permanent apostolate in Ecuador, following two years of
missionary work there.
The new apostolate will be based in Guale.
The
missions began at the invitation of Bishop Eduardo Castillo Pino of
Portoviejo, who has supported the fraternity’s ministry and the
celebration of the Roman Rite in the region.
MissionTradition.us reports that the new apostolate will begin on August 19, with Fr Xavier Proust serving as priest-in-charge.
The foundation will mark the Fraternity's first house in Ecuador.
